Join in on a relaxed and creative morning of learning how to create Polaroid Emulsion Lifts, a popular variation of Polaroid photography famed for its delicate and ethereal aesthetic. This workshop offers a fun opportunity to transform all those memories you have on your cellphone into special physical works of art. It also celebrates the fusion of old school photographic nostalgia with modern technology.  

We will use a specialized Polaroid Lab to transform digital images from your cellphone into classic physical Polaroids. We will then carefully dissect the them to reveal the fragile emulsion layer that carries the image. Finally, participants will learn how to use this newly revealed emulsion layer to create emulsion lift artworks on fine art paper.
