Chloe Obermeyer
Hi There,

My name is Chloe, nick name 'Cleo', and I am a visual artist living and working in Cape Town, South Africa. I graduated with a BA (Fine Art) from Michaelis School of Fine Art in 2014 and went on to complete my Masters in Visual Art through UNISA in 2020.

My artistic practice is driven by a fascination with the natural world, particularly the ocean. Much of my time is spent traveling to and documenting my surrounding coastal environments, as well as collecting organic debris to use within my art creation. While a large amount of my work is oceanic in nature, I do also create works using land based imagery and vegetation.

My works have been exhibited at AVA Gallery, Youngblood Gallery, State of the Art Galley , Gallery ONE 11 and Art B Gallery in Cape Town, Cape Palette Gallery in George, and Gallery Riebeek Kasteel in Riebeek Kasteel.
I have also exhibited abroad in Casa Petrarca, Figline Valdarno and Studio BONG, both in Florence, Italy, and at The Small Print Co. in London.
